Intergrow Greenhouses Hydroponic Tomatoes on-the-Vine Good Agricultural Practices

Food Safety is not something we take lightly

Growing our tomatoes in a pristine, computer controlled, indoor environment ensures a product free of disease and contamination from tainted water runoff, animal bacteria, and other unsavory outdoor factors. But we don't stop there.

Our adherence to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) creates strict sanitary guidelines that our workers live by from the moment they step into the greenhouse. We also subject our facility to third party inspection.

We understand our consumers' desire to know where their food is coming from, thus we proudly endorse the Produce Traceability Initiative Action Plan. We support this industry-wide approach to traceability by applying a GS1 databar to all tomato clusters, as well as to the recycled, corrugated cardboard box they're shipped in.

At the end of the growing season all plants are removed and the greenhouse is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to create a safe and sterile environment for the next growing season.
