has promoted Kris Gibson to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Gibson
will be responsible for maintaining and expanding current accounts and
acquiring new sales opportunities. Aside from his sales work, Gibson will
continue to develop an integrated marketing plan for Intergrow and will be
travelling to various tradeshows through-out the year.
Gibson brings over 12 years of sales experience to Intergrow from various
industries. Originally from California, Gibson has lived in Albion, NY for the
past 10 years and is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the success
at Intergrow and their support in the local economy. When asked why he
chose Intergrow, Gibson stated, “As the Vice President of Sales & Marketing,
I will have the opportunity to explore my interest within the agricultural sector,
while helping the company grow. With innovative companies like Intergrow,
New York State will continue to grow and remain a critical component of the industry.”
Intergrow Greenhouses Inc. is a greenhouse tomato producer in New York State located along the shores of Lake Ontario. Intergrow ships across the North East and Midwest with their own fleet of reefer trailers, reducing food miles for retailers and distributors. With an almost entirely closed irrigation system, the greenhouse uses rainwater to irrigate the plants and biomass fuel to heat the greenhouse that has a double curtain system to reduce heat demand to a minimum.
