Intergrow Greenhouses Hydroponic Tomatoes on-the-Vine

Perfected by family greenhouse in Holland

In 1998 Dirk Biemans and partners Dirk van den Plas and John Vermeiren opened a tomato greenhouse in Portageville, NY called Intergrow. A few years later, building on the success of that operation, they decided to expand the business. In 2003 they broke ground on a lush patch of land in Albion, NY just south of Lake Ontario.
Dirk Biemans runs the day to day operations at the new site. Here he perfects authentic Dutch growing methods for tomatoes on the vine that he learned at the hand of his family in Holland decades earlier. He combines those proven techniques with a computer controlled, sustainable closed environment to produce tomatoes on the vine in a class all their own. Tomatoes with thick vines that can be picked at the peak of ripeness and delivered fresh within 24 hours.
